Your cousin sends you a GenBase

Your cousin sends you a GenBase. How do you access this data?

Solution

This doesn't literally mean "your cousin", it could be someone else. The GenBase sent to you could be in a compressed or uncompressed state. If the data was compressed it needs to be uncompressed.

Copy the uncompressed data to its own folder. This will be a temporary folder.

The only data in that folder should be the data from your cousin. To reiterate, the data must not be compressed ie. zipped.

Lets say the GenBase was named Jones when your cousin was using it on his computer. You must use the same name Jones when you install it on your system.

We recommend you use the Installer Wizard to do so.

The Installer Wizard has its own topic in the Help Manual. Please refer to that topic.
