Held every three years the Victorian State Conference was held this year 28th to 30th May 2010 at ClubMulwala at Yarrawonga-Mulwala. The trade area was only open Saturday 29th May. By a remarkable coincidence the Trade day was exactly 171 years to the day that the explorer Captain Charles Sturt passed by this point in 1839.

This year we were demonstrating GENP Platinum version 3. There was a prize draw of one copy of this program. See below for a photo of the prize draw and who the lucky winner was.

At this Conference of the more than 40 major features in version 3 the one that attracted the most interest was the ability for the program to be portable. The program can now be installed on a memory stick or USB drive. This means you can run the program at a library or relatives home. As a number of attendees mentioned - they no longer need to purchase and use a net book computer!

Another benefit of this release is the availablity of tutorial videos on the website. Many attendees told us they prefer to learn visually rather than reading a manual.
