Tree Charts - panel Tree Settings

Margins

Change the 'Chart Margin Left' via its spin box. A larger number increases the distance of the whole chart from the left hand edge of paper.

Change the 'Chart Margin Top' via its spin box. A larger number increases the distance of the whole chart from the top edge of paper.

Sections to include

Each chart can have optional sections included in it. The Title section will appear at the top of a chart. The Contact, Date and Time sections appear at the bottom of a chart.

Check the 'Include Title' check box to include the Title section. An example of a title is 'Descendants of Tuthmosis I'. The title has fixed text with variable text based on the specific chart. In this example 'Tuthmosis I' is the name of the focus individual. If the focus individual was 'Hatchepsut' then the title will read 'Descendants of Hatchepsut'.

Check the 'Include Contact' check box to include the Contact section. The Contact section is derived from data in Preferences. For example, the program when in demonstration mode will have the name and address details of GENP.

Check the 'Include Date' check box to include the Date section. An example of the date is "03 Mar 2011". See below for an explanation of date formats.

Check the 'Include Time' check box to include the Time section. An example of the time is "15:53:17". This is 15 hundred hours or 3 PM, 53 minutes and 17 seconds.

There are three (3) Date formats to choose from.

In the following examples the date is the 3rd April 2011.

DDMMMYYYY

For example, "03 Apr 2011".

ISO
