Potential Problems Report

This reports lists the potential problems that may exist in a GenBase. You can easily include or exclude criteria.

Problems are listed against individuals. If an individual does not have any problems then they are not listed.

Problems are divided into three (3) areas:

General problems see Problems panel

Age problems see Problems-Age panel

Media problems see Problems-Media panel

If you have a GenBase open then that GenBase is preselected for you. However you can readily change the GenBase via the GenBase more button.

You can select all problems on all panels by clicking the Select All button.

You can deselect any selected problems on all panels by clicking the Deselect button.

In general there are a number of ways that problems can arise. In no particular order these are:

o Data in an imported GEDCOM was incorrect

o A program warning was overridden and suspect data was input. For example, Age Constraints on Persons tab in Preferences.

o Age Constraints on Persons tab in Preferences was changed sometime after data had been keyed.

o Incorrect data keyed.
